Miami’s first one-dish menu arrives in Brickell! This old French tradition dates back to Geneva 1931 and is modeled after the famous Cafe de Paris. We were invited to experience the charm of this classic brasserie and the 21-ingredient secret sauce.
We began our transport to the heart of Paris with a crisp, mustard-dressed salad topped with walnuts along with a warm basket of bread and selection of spreads.
Our main-course (and the only entree on the menu) was a perfectly prepared cut of rare meat bathed in a wonderfully, savory sauce that reminded us of home. And what better way to sop up the sauce than with deliciously, crunchy fries.
The extensive dessert menu makes up for any lack in options with 14 choices. We couldn’t choose just one and so we tried the decadent Marquise Au Mocha (a rich chocolate house made mousse) and the Tartelette Aux Framboises (raspberry topped pastry).
The beautiful raspberries positioned on the Tartelette were so perfectly ripened and the shell was pleasantly buttery with a crumbly texture that was easy to cut through without falling apart.
The Marquise was absolutely marvelous, but so rich that we took half of it home and nibbled on it for the next 2 days. L’Entrecote is the perfect destination to enjoy traditional French charm in Mary Brickell Village.
