August 26, 2015With locations in Coral Gables and South Pointe, Cibo Wine Bar has made a name for itself with their authentic and hand-made Italian cuisine. Not only do they excel in culinary creations, their massive wine selection has made them the premier destination for wine lovers and aficionados.
South of Fifth’s largest and newest Italian eatery, Cibo Wine Bar, features an ambiance that blends old-world rustic charm with contemporary chic. Out of Cibo's striking 60-foot open kitchen comes fresh seafood specials, handmade pastas and enticing traditional desserts. Choose from one of their 3,500 wine selections out of their soaring two-story wine room as a wine-angel delivers your pick.
Situated on South Pointe Drive in Miami Beach, Cibo features one of SoBe’s largest rooftop patios, perfect for dining under the stars. Walls adorned with oversized mirrors surround you as you enter the slightly dim yet comfortabe Cibo Wine Bar. A whimsical sign reading “Life is Beautiful” greets you, instantly making you feel at home and ready to indulge in your Miami Spice feast.
Begin your evening with the Thinly Sliced Raw Tuna appetizer. Fresh tuna is drizzled with the perfect amount of lemon and EVOO. A hint of citrus and a touch of sweet fennel makes the fish pop with flavor. Served with a fresh heirloom tomato and cucumber salad, this aperitif is the ideal bite of the summer.

For your main course, go for the Pappardelle, a generous serving of al dente pasta with lamb ragu. Chef Massimo Giannattasio slow-cooks the lamb until tender, then combines the meat with Cibo’s specialty herbs for the most flavorful ragu on South Beach. He then tops the dish with pecorino shavings before garnishing it with a fresh basil leaf.

End your Miami Spice dinner on a sweet note with the Cannoli Siciliani. Our favorite Italian dessert is filled with a velvety mascarpone creme that has a tiny hint of orange zest. The creme is then topped with rich chocolate shavings for a melt-in-your-mouth flavor combination.
