And while we can’t tell you how easy it will be to make a last-minute reservation, one thing you won’t have to stress about is the price. Fortunately for you, Miami has a range of options for romantic bites priced at $150 or less (including drinks, tax and tip!) – like our favorites, listed below.
Point Royal at The Diplomat: Celebrity chef Geoffrey Zakarian debuts his Coastal American concept, Point Royal, reminiscent of a mid-century modern seaside home. Cozy nooks in a casual mixture of rattan, linen, and bronze elements are perfect for a flirtatious night out. Impress your date with an over-the-top raw bar selection with standouts such as Marinated Bay Scallop in spicy cilantro aioli and melon broth ($16) and decadent seafood towers starting at $45. Couple those options with a Creamy Ricotta Agnolotti served with local blue crab and lemon beurre fondue ($24) or a whole grilled Florida Snapper ($36). Lantern Garden at Phuc Yea: Transport yourself into a mini Asian garden surrounded by lush tropical plants and softly lit with hanging silk lanterns. For a flirtatious night out, nosh on several of our favorite shareable bites including Bao Buns ($8), Crispy Tofu ($9) or Lobster Summer Roll ($16). 660 at The Angler's: Celebrate love at 660 at The Angler’s charming hideaway nestled in South of Fifth. Enclaves of candle lit tables for two are surrounded by bougainvillea and string lights. For just $50 per person, nosh on dishes like Savory Steak Tartare and Pan Roasted NY Strip. Spend a tad bit more and enjoy unlimited cava for $65 per person. 660 at The Angler’s is located inside the Kimpton Angler’s Hotel, at 660 Washington Avenue. It will be open for Valentine’s Day day dinner from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The cava is endless for up to two hours and 15 minutes after the reservation time.
Dragonfly Izakaya and Fish Market: If you’re in Doral, make a date night at Dragonfly Izakaya and Fish Market. Available either a la carte or as an $85 prix fixe menu (per couple!), this contemporary Japanese pub has whipped up a five-course dinner just for the occasion. On the menu? Hamachi Lavender sashimi, Tako, Ossobukko, Ikasumi Yaki Meshi and a surprise V-Day dessert. On the menu, diners will find a Kumamoto Trio, Whole Roasted Flounder, Braised Lamb Shank, Passion Fruit Soup, Potato Fondant and more. Want to spend a little extra?
