Take a look at our preview of these invigorating cocktails and tell us which one will be your favorite:
Mexican Beet
South of the border meets south of France with the Mexican Beet. Keep one thing in mind about this cocktail: Very little beet juice goes a long way. Thai chili is infused in syrup for a spicy kick, making this cocktail muy caliente! The presentation is as amazing as the blend of flavors! Pasteurized egg white, St. Germaine, lime juice and water are combined to create a foam for added texture. Start with pouring the foam in a martini glass and pour the cocktail directly in the center. This causes the foam to rise, giving us a cocktail that pleases the palate and the eye.
Ki-oui
Paying homage to the restaurant’s French inspiration, the Ki-oui cocktail is a sweet combination of muddled New Zealand Kiwi, vodka, lime juice, white cranberry juice and simple syrup. The New Zealand Kiwi is soft and easy to spoon out of its skin. The acidity of the lime juice balances with the sugar from the refreshing white cranberry and simple syrup for an exquisite aperitif.
Strawberry Patch
Strawberry fields are calling! The Strawberry Patch is a fusion of flavors, made with the INfusion of strawberries in rum! We all love basil, but we don’t love those herbs all in our drink. db Bistro steeps their basil in the water made for the simple syrup and voila! It is now basil-simple-syrup! This springtime potion, combined with lemon juice for some acidity and topped off with a splash of sprite for some added zing is perfect for a hot sunny day.
Zen
Gin aficionados will enjoy this refreshing cocktail with a botanical twist. The Zen cocktail immediately entices your sense of smell with Creme de Violette, a violet flower liqueur. Combined with fresh cucumber juice, simple syrup and Meyer lemon zest, the Zen is perfect to sip the stress away. If you’re making this cocktail at home, although juicing is the best option, you may muddle the cucumber if you wish. Namaste.
