October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Throughout South Florida, our favorite restaurants are thinking pink during the month of October! Toast to tatas and indulge in pink-themed cocktails and events as chefs around the city donate a portion of their proceeds to support Breast Cancer Awareness. 

Yes Way, Rosé at Hyde Beach Kitchen + Cocktails

111 S Surf Road, Hallandale Beach

Raise a glass to a survivor and show support for the Breast Cancer Awareness cause at Hyde Beach Kitchen + Cocktails (HBKC) in Hallandale Beach. Throughout October, HBKC’s chic second floor restaurant is donating 10% from every bottle of Whispering Angel Rosé purchased to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Bleau Goes Pink at Fontainebleau Miami Beach

4441 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach

Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s 7th Annual Bleau Goes Pink campaign celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness month. The hotel itself and its Chateau Tower are illuminated in bright pink throughout October. Guests are invited to Dine for the Cure at any of Fontainebleau’s signature eateries, Hakkasan, Scarpetta, Michael Mina 74 and Stripsteak by Michael Mina. All restaurants are offering prix-fixe dinner menus priced at $55 per person (exclusive of tax and gratuity) with a portion of proceeds benefitting Susan G. Komen Miami/Ft. Lauderdale. Chez Bon Bon is also showing their support by offering pink desserts and treats such as strawberry eclairs, raspberry macaroons and pink velvet cupcakes.

Drink Pink at Katsuya South Beach

1701 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach

Order the Original COSMO at Katsuya South Beach and you’re instantly supporting the Breast Cancer Awareness cause. This delicious libation is made with vodka, cranberry, lime juice, simple syrup and cointreau. Sip and enjoy this rose-colored classic and 10% of the proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Strawberry Cobbler at STK Miami

2311 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach

On your next visit to Miami Beach’s part modern steakhouse, part ultrachic lounge, STK Miami, indulge in their signature Breast Cancer Awareness cocktail, the Strawberry Cobbler. This libation is made with a blend of Belvedere Vodka and fresh strawberries. A sweet graham cracker rim is the final touch to this cobbler of a cocktail. A portion of cocktail sales at STKs nationwide will be donated to breast cancer research.

Tatatini at Piripi

320 San Lorenzo Avenue, Coral Gables

It’s okay to get a little “piripi” when it’s for a good cause! Piripi Miami’s Tatatini ($10) is the signature cocktail for the cure throughout October. This pretty pink drink is made with Voli Vodka, pink grapefruit juice, peach schnapps and garnished with fresh mint. $1 from every cocktail sold will be donated to charity in support of breast cancer awareness and research.

The Pink Lady ($15) at Corsair

Turnberry Isle, 19999 W Country Club Drive, Aventura

Corsair’s “Liquid Chef” Rob Floyd mixes Peach Vodka with sweet Maraschino Liqueur. He muddles fresh strawberries with basil leaves and adds a splash of Prosecco for a hint of bubbly.

"T & A" Tequila & Awareness ($15) at Tongue & Cheek

431 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach

This tasty tequila creation is made with two types of Casamigos Tequila. Tongue & Cheek Mixologist Maxwell Parise combines Casamigos Reposado and Casamigos Blanco with egg white, lime, Pama Pomegranate liqueur and soda water for a refreshing delicate pink libation.

Cheers to the Cure ($15) at Bourbon Steak

Ladies love bourbon too! Bourbon Steak Mixologist Jennifer Sorrano combines Maker’s Mark Bourbon with a house made strawberry-basil puree and Cocchi Americano. The final touch is a splash of club soda and you’re ready to sip this pretty cocktail on the rocks.

Pink Tantalizer ($16) at Tantalize

330 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, FL

Sip on this sparkling cocktail at Tantalize Miami as an aperitif before your prix-fixe dinner. The Pink Tantalizer is made with St. George Vodka, Gifford Creme de Violette, fresh lemon juice, Thai chili syrup, grenadine and splash of Col di Salici Prosecco. Your cocktail pairs perfectly with the Lamb Foie Gras Meatballs appetizer. Your 3-course dinner is priced at $45 per person with a percentage of each cocktail and menu sold benefiting the Sandy B.
