Inspired by the success of Sardinia in Miami Beach and Moye in Brickell, restauranteurs Tony Gallo and Chef Pietro Vardeu have just added another distinct concept to create a unique trio of Italian dining. Named after the region in southern Italy, Campania highlights the cuisine of Naples and the Amalfi Coast with artisanal, made-to-order pizza, calzones, pastas along with a marketplace for guest to purchase fresh buffalo mozzarella and burrata.
Distressed with off-white chairs and tables occupying the spacious dining room and an impressive Italian-focused wine wall, Campania embraces a rustic and casual vibe. Immense windows create an inviting ambiance for both lunch and dinner crowds.
Showcasing locally sourced, garden-fresh ingredients, Campania offers foodies mouthwatering Italian offerings. Pizza is made-to-order in a gorgeous, mosaic wood-burning pizza oven. Indulge in their signature pies such as Mariana ($10) prepared with fresh tomato, fragrant garlic and oregano or Capricciosa ($14) with artichokes, ham, black olives, and mushrooms.
Guests can also nibble on a variety of appetizers such as the Marechiaro ($13), a warm calzone stuffed with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, ricotta cheese, salami, pepper and basil or Gambrel in pasta kataifi ($16), shrimp wrapped in crisp kataifi pasta.
There are plenty of options for those with a larger appetite including Frittura di Mare ($24), a combination of wood-fired shrimp, calamari, and rock fish or try their fresh catch of the day.
Campania embraces a vibe as relaxed as it namesake Italian region and their new Happy Hour will help you unwind a little more. From 4PM to 7PM, enjoy Italian wine by the glass or cocktails from the bar for $7 or bottled beer for $3.
