The American Liver Foundation’s Flavors of Miami gala at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel highlights cuisine by top South Florida chefs.
Only 20 chefs are invited to participate in this interactive event in which each chef prepares a 5-course dinner for table of 12 lucky guests. Chefs are also asked to decorate their tables to embrace the style of cuisine served that evening. Returning for his second year as Honorary Chef, Scott Linquist of COYO Taco will not only prepare a five-course dinner, but also share his personal experience alongside his sister who was recently cured of liver disease.
Over 20 years ago, James Beard Award-winning chef Christopher Gross pioneered the first Flavors event to support the mission of the ALF. This annual event is hosted in over 20 cities nationwide and has raised millions of dollars annually in support of the American Liver Foundation’s mission to promote education, support and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver disease.
