December 27, 2018Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant marries the artistry of handcrafted winemaking and upscale casual dining to give both connoisseurs and novices an opportunity to expand their wine knowledge.
Now with four locations throughout South Florida, the Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant concept consists of four components providing a complete food and wine experience. Guests can choose to experience a modern casual restaurant, the tasting room solely dedicated to their wine selections and wine tastings, a private barrel-aging room or take home items from the retail shop.
Start your visit in the Napa-style tasting room where you can sample different wines or attend a tasting event. The wine selection is uniquely curated by seasoned winemaker, Rob Warren who sources grapes from around the country to develop custom varietals and blends just for Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant.
One thing that Cooper’s Hawk is doing differently is hosting a wine club with different types of memberships based on your wine preferences. The cost ranges from $17.99 to $37.99 per month and includes monthly perks such as 1 or 2 complimentary wine bottles and access to a variety pricing specials and exclusive events.
In the dining room, dim lights and low music provide a welcoming environment for guests to have thriving conversations. The food offered at the restaurant is something to rave about and Cooper's Hawk makes wine pairing easy for everyone. Each menu option is marked with a bin number that refers to an expertly chosen wine to pair your dish.
The menu incorporates American classics with global flavors. Mexican Drunken Shrimp ($13.99) are wrapped in crispy bacon and are placed on a heaping spoonful of made-to-order guacamole and a tequila lime butter sauce. Asian Pork Belly Tostadas ($10.99) are award-winning for a reason; all the favors are in alignment and each bite has you reaching for the next one. As a heartier option, the Red Wine Braised Short Rib is extremely tender and full of flavor.
If there is one thing that is evident at Cooper's Hawk, it is that each staff member believes in their mantra that "food and wine hold the power to forge lasting connections."
Whether you are visiting for dinner or just a glass of wine, stop by the Artisan Market where you can purchase wine, high end wine accessories and other items to continue your Cooper's Hawk experience at home.
Coopers Hawk Winery & Restaurants currently has locations in Doral, Pembroke Pines, and Coconut Creek.
