Snail of Approval
Now in its 17th year, Miami Spice will feature restaurants committed to using local ingredients.
From August 1st through September 30th, look for the “Snail of Approval” mark to find Miami Spice restaurants that have been recognized for embracing sustainable methods.
The snail is a symbol established by non-profit organization, Slow Food Miami, to identify restaurants and chefs that are “maintaining good, clean, and fair standards, to the best of their ability.”
On this year’s Miami Spice list of participants, only twelve restaurants have the exclusive Snail of Approval. That means these restaurants have shown a commitment to sustainability and feature local ingredients in at least four dishes on their menu.
Join the slow food movement and book your Miami Spice reservation at one of these restaurants from August 1st through September 30th.
