The gastronomic gala of the year is fast approaching as tickets for the 23rd annual Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (SOBEWFF®) are officially on sale. From February 22-25, 2024, the Magic City will play host to a sensational four-day celebration where culinary creativity, star-studded line-ups, and philanthropy converge into an unforgettable experience.
Lee Brian Schrager, the visionary behind this culinary extravaganza, aptly describes the Festival as a showcase of great food and drink interwoven with the vibrant spirit of Miami. What began on the campus of FIU has now blossomed into an international stage that not only delights the taste buds but also nurtures the future leaders of the hospitality industry.
Returning Fan Favorites
SOBEWFF® wouldn't be complete without its iconic open-air tasting tents – the American Airlines North Venue and Goya Foods’ Grand Tasting Village. Over two days and four nights, these tents will host a culinary spectacle featuring more than 500 chefs and lifestyle personalities, supported by the dedication of over 1,500 student volunteers from Florida International University.
The lineup is nothing short of spectacular:
- Rachael Ray returns to host the 17th annual Burger Bash presented by Schweid & Sons®.
- Guy Fieri takes the stage for Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives LIVE, featuring over 25 eateries from the hit show.
- Aarón Sánchez headlines Tacos & Tequila presented by Tequila Cazadores, a showcase of Mexico’s iconic dish.
- Andrew Zimmern and Melba Wilson close out the Festival with BACARDÍ presents The Block Party, featuring a special performance by Rev Run.
New and Noteworthy Events
This year, SOBEWFF® has cooked up an enticing array of new events, promising a Festival that is as diverse as it is delectable. Highlights include FoodieCon® Kick Off Happy Hour, The Art of Punch Room presented by MATADOR Bar and EDITION, Noche Cubana, Bobby’s Triple Threat, Bubbles Brunch, Champagne Dim Sum Brunch, Goya Foods’ Heritage Fire, and a Sushi Omakase Collective, among others.
Spotlight on Local Culture
From Overtown and Wynwood to Hallandale Beach and the Miami Design District, the 2024 Festival meticulously curates events that spotlight the vibrant local cuisine and culture of these neighborhoods. A Taste of Italy, Steak and Whiskey, The Cookout, Smorgasburg After Dark, Chicken Coupe, Hallandale Beach Food & Groove, A Feast of Local Flavors, Overtown EatUp!, and Farmer’s Market Brunch are just a few of the offerings that promise a culinary journey through the heart of South Florida.
Tribute Dinner
The crown jewel of the Festival, the Tribute Dinner, takes place on Saturday, February 24. This Italian affair will honor culinary virtuoso Massimo Bottura and Luca Garavoglia of Campari Group. Rachael Ray will serve as the Master of Ceremonies, guiding attendees through a world-class culinary experience prepared by renowned chefs.
Immersive Gastronomic Experiences
With more than 60 intimate gatherings, SOBEWFF® offers a range of experiences, from seated Brunches and Lunches to Master Classes and Wine Seminars. Attendees can engage in meaningful conversations and connect intimately with their favorite chefs, local restaurateurs, vintners, and mixologists.
