800° Woodfired Kitchen
Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem
800° Woodfired Kitchen brings a unique and innovative approach to the art of woodfired cooking, providing guests top-quality dishes that stretch beyond the traditional pizza offering to include craveable woodfired rotisserie meats, healthy salads, and power bowls, woodfired appetizers, sides, and more. Starting with the purest ingredients – scratch dough, fresh produce, and artisan-quality meats and cheeses – 800° Woodfired Kitchen creates an offering that is authentic, delicious, and diverse. The West Coast-based concept was founded by Chef Anthony Carron. Owned by Miami’s Historic Champions, Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem. The restaurant, which has outposts all over the globe, was franchised by Wade and Haslem in Miami — where they put their own spin on the menu and created the restaurant’s first full-service location complete with a bar, brunch, and namesake dishes like the UD chicken wings and the DWade burger. The duo has had a hands-on approach to the business and has helped the menu evolve over the last couple of years. On the evolution of the menu Dwyane states; “The menu started with pizza and then we were like, okay, we want to do something different. Then we went and added the UD wings and DWade burger. And it just kept going and going. And we realized that because of the family environment we wanted to have something for everyone and I think we accomplished that. I think we have collabed very well and we always got our ear to what is needed. Like chicken fingers wasn’t on our menu, right? We started having families bringing in younger kids and they were like, listen pizza is great, but kids like chicken fingers and fries. Let’s throw that on the menu.” To add Udonis Haslem aka UD offers his insights on the evolving menu, And as we get a little older, we tend to want to be a little more health-conscious so we added in power bowls and different things like that, which was something that was important to us. So understanding that everything is moving towards health-conscious nowadays we wanted to obviously implement that as well. Lunch & Dinner:Mon - Sun | 12pm - 9pm

Clive's Cafe
Pearline Murray
Just over 40 years old, this Wynwood institution is the longest-running eatery of its kind in the Magic City, and the most centrally located, right next to the Electric Pickle and up the block from the Shops at Midtown. Pearline Murray and her late husband Clifford opened Clive’s (named for their now-middle-aged son) in the mid-’70s when their clientele consisted primarily of local factory workers. The neighborhood has changed considerably since then — for the worse and then for the better. Voted Best Jamaican food in Miami for over 35 years, the restaurant serves curry goat, rice and peas, oxtail, beef stew, jerk chicken, beef patties and more. Wynwood is constantly evolving. Artists from around the world have descended on the central Miami neighborhood, painting murals on the sides of walls. Liquor and retail companies have hosted pop-up shops competing for the trendiest brands on the block. Galleries sell paintings, photos, and sculptures by the bushel. However, not much changes at Clive’s Cafe a tiny Caribbean establishment with high-value food on the outskirts of Wynwood that Pearline Murray started with late husband Clifford decades ago, and now runs with sister-in-law/chef Gloria Chin. Of course, credit cards are no good at Clive’s. As a sign says on the wall: “In God we trust all others pay cash.” Hours:Mon - Sat | 7:30am – 9pm
