Tudor House with the South Florida Foodies.

On a raining Sunday afternoon in mid August a group of about 40 foodies, known as the South Florida Foodies gathered at the Tudor House on Miami Beach for an afternoon of pure indulgence.

Curated by the incomparable Maude Eaton, Chefs Geoffrey Zakarian and Jamie DeRosa along with Jelena Meisel and Pietro Riccobono from Casa Vinicola Zonin thrilled us to an afternoon brunch they called a "Foodies Dream Come True". A title that was in no way an exageration of the delights to come.

1st Course:

Chilled Octopus with olive presere Tuna Nicoise  

2nd Course:

Ca Bolani Sauvignon Blanc Friuli 2010
Ricotta Gnudi with basil and fresh peas

Chicken Liver w pickled vegetables and warm bread

3rd Course:

Ca Bolani Refosco Friuli 2008

Black Grouper Cheeks Romesco with Langoustine Provencal w escargot butter and served with Roasted sunchokes side

4th Course:

Rocca Di Montemassi Sassabruna Maremma Toscana 2008

Braised Lamb Belly w salsa verde served with potato gratin and cauliflower sides

Desserts:

Castello Del Poggio Moscato D’Asti DOCG 2010

Rocky Road Key lime Sandwich Strawberry shortcake Popcorn milk shake
